Khatt ("we", "us", "our") operates khatt.pk. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or join our waitlist, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We collect only your email address, submitted voluntarily when you join our waitlist. That is the only personal data we collect at this time.

We do not collect your name, location, IP address, device information, or any behavioral or browsing data. We do not use cookies, analytics tools, or any third-party tracking technologies on this website.

Your email address is used solely for the following purposes:

— To notify you when your Khatt early access invite is ready — To send you product updates directly related to Khatt's launch

We will never use your email address for unrelated marketing, third-party advertising, or any purpose beyond what is stated above.

Your email address is stored securely with a third-party service provider on internationally hosted, GDPR-compliant infrastructure. By joining the waitlist, you acknowledge that your data will be processed and stored outside of Pakistan in accordance with internationally recognised data protection standards.

Our storage provider maintains a privacy-by-design approach with data governance policies covering collection, storage, access, and deletion throughout the data lifecycle. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing raahim@khatt.pk.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not share your email address with any third party for commercial or marketing purposes.

The only circumstance under which we may disclose your data is if we are legally required to do so under applicable Pakistani law, including but not limited to the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA) or a valid order from a competent authority. In such cases, we will disclose only the minimum information required.

We retain your email address for as long as is necessary to operate the waitlist and notify you of your access. If you request deletion at any time, we will permanently remove your data within 7 days. Email raahim@khatt.pk to make a deletion request.

Khatt is not intended for children under the age of 13. By joining the waitlist, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Khatt grows. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the email address you provided. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
